Temperatures to warm back up this week

While there will be at least some chance of rain nearly every day this week, the National Weather Service in Paducah isn’t expecting any major events in the next several days.

In the weekly conference call Monday, Warning Coordination Meteorologist Rick Shanklin said expect temperatures to heat back up the upper 80’s later in the week.

The long-term outlook is looking like cooler temperatures and normal precipitation next week.

Area rivers are well below flood stage and there’s no concern of drought in Western Kentucky with recent rainfall.
