Princeton’s Emma Talley opened with a two over par 73 at the Marathon LPGA Classic Thursday in Sylvania, OH. Nasa Hatatoka had a ten under 61 and has a four shot lead going into today’s second round.
Sebastian Munoz and Chesson Hadley each fired an opening round eight under 63 and share the lead heading into today’s second round of the PGA Tour’s John Deere Classic. Campbellsville native JB Holmes is at one over par while Lexington native Josh Teater is at three over.
Stephen Ames and Billy Andrade each had a five under 65 and share the lead at the US Senior Open in Omaha, NE. Franklin’s Kenny Perry had an opening round one over par 71. Round two is today.
