The start of the new school year will be here before you know it and the Todd County School System will hold its annual Fill the Bus campaign next week to be sure all students have the supplies they’ll need.
Katrena Smith is the Community Education Director and says they’ll accept supplies or cash donations from July 19 through the 23 at the Todd County Board of Education on Airport Road in Elkton.
She says family resource centers will also be proactive in helping families they know will need assistance in being prepared for the new year.
Some supplies that are most needed include pencils, two pocket folders with prongs, 2-inch three-ring binders, disinfectant wipes, wide rule spiral notebooks, college rule spiral notebooks, college rule loose leaf paper, composition notebooks and hand sanitizer.
