Texas downed Virginia in an elimination game at the College World Series in Omaha 6-2.
Today’s Games: Vanderbilt faces NC State in a do-or-die matchup. Since the Wolfpack already beat the Commodores earlier in the College World Series, the Commodores would need to beat NC State this afternoon and then top them again on Saturday to advance to the championship series. The game starts at 1 p.m.
Texas faces Mississippi State tonight at 6 pm in the National Semifinals.
