NBA

Trae Young scored 48 points and dished out 11 assists as the Atlanta Hawks topped the Milwaukee Bucks 116-113 in Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals in Milwaukee. Tonight, the Phoenix Suns will visit the Los Angeles Clippers for Game Three of the Western Conference Finals. Phoenix holds a 2-0 series lead.

The Boston Celtics are planning to hire Brooklyn Nets assistant coach Ime Udoka as their new head coach. Udoka will replace Brad Stevens, who recently took over as Boston’s president of basketball operations.

NHL
The New York Islanders stayed alive in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 3-2 overtime win over Tampa Bay last night. Game Seven is Friday night in Tampa. Tonight, the Vegas Golden Knights will try and force a Game Seven themselves as they battle the Canadiens in Montreal.

NFL

The NFL scouting combine could be on the move. According to ESPN, the league is informing its member clubs that it will begin accepting bids from other cities to host the annual evaluation beginning in 2023. The Indianapolis Business Journal said the league is looking to elevate the event to one of the marquee moments of the season. The combine has been held in Indianapolis since 1987.

Golf

On the PGA Tour, Dustin Johnson will look to defend his title at the Travelers Championship starting today at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut. The blooming feud between Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau will be sure to tantalize viewers and patrons alike. However, the two will have tee times separated by nearly five hours.
Last week’s U.S. Open winner, Jon Rahm, will not be playing in this week’s event. Campbellsville native JB Holmes and Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker are in the field.
