Tigers & Blazers win Thursday while Fort Campbell loses

Hopkinsville built a 7-1 lead through four innings and went on to down Trigg County 10-2. Landon Cook, Ryan Myers and Landon Snyder each had two hits in the win for the Tigers while Zach Moss went six inning on the mound to get the win. Hopkinsville is now 16-8 on the season and returns to action Monday hosting Caldwell County.

Eston Glover had four hits and Matthew Leeper had three as University Heights run ruled Webster County 17-7 in six innings. Seth Hancock and Ty Hunt also chipped in two hits each for the Blazers while Eston Glover pitched a complete game. UHA is now 11-17 and hosts Graves County at noon Saturday.

Fort Campbell was blanked 7-0 by Livingston Central on a one hit shutout. The Falcons are now 10-18 and face Hopkins Central today.
