Former Murray State coach and athletic director Cal Luther passed away on Saturday at age 93 in Dresden, TN. Luther coached the Racers from 1958-74, leading Murray State to a 241-134 mark. He also later coached at UT Martin from 1990-99. He won 500 games in his coaching career. Luther also served as Murray State athletic director from 1967-78.
