Hopkinsville police are investigating after a man was shot outside a home on Princeton Road Friday morning.
Shots were heard in the area of the Princeton Road-Cadiz Road split about 11:40 a.m. and Hopkinsville Police Captain Adam Smith says 20-year old Dacoreous Stubbs was found with a gunshot wound outside of the home.
Stubbs was taken by EMS to the Jennie Stuart helipad and flown by Air Evac to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, where he was in critical condition.
The shooter fled the scene and anyone with information on the incident should call HPD at 270-890-1300.
