Reds win wild one with Cubs Sunday

The Cincinnati Reds survived a 10 inning slugfest with a 13-12 victory over the Chicago Cubs. The Reds and Cubs hit ten combined home runs to tie a record for most homers in a game at Great American Ball Park set in 2014 against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Nick Castellanos had his second career five-hit game, and his second-career walk-off hit to give Cincinnati the win.

The Reds will take today off before welcoming the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday. The next Reds on Radio broadcast will be Wednesday when the teams close out the two game series with pregame at 11:05 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

Meanwhile, the Cubs return home to begin a series with the Los Angeles Dodgers this evening.
