Christian County man indicted for alleged rape of child

Two Christian County residents were served with indictment warrants Wednesday related to alleged sex offenses against a juvenile.

An indictment for third-degree rape was recently returned against 22-year old James Daniel and an indictment for facilitation to first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor involving a sex offense against 42-year old Tiffany Daniel.

Hopkinsville police allege James Daniel engaged in sexual intercourse with a female under the age of 16 between July and September of last year.

Tiffany Daniel is accused of “inducing, assisting, or causing a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity,” according to the indictment.

Both suspects were arrested by the Christian County Sheriff’s Department and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
