Former Clarksville Northeast HS nurse was terminated after exploitation investigation

Clarksville police and federal authorities are investigating alleged child exploitation involving a former school nurse at Clarksville Northeast High School.

The nurse was employed at the school from August of 2018 until November of 2019, according to Detective Michael Patterson, who says the employee was terminated when investigation led to charges of exploitation of a minor.

Federal law enforcement is currently contacting other potential victims and no other information has been released by police.

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System issued its own statement, saying the district is “fully cooperating with CPD as they investigate these heinous crimes.”

They say families whose children utilized nursing services between August of 2018 and November of 2019 at Northeast High School and believe they may be a victim should call the Homeland Security Hotline at 866-347-2423.
