The University of Tennessee baseball team never led in its midweek game against Lipscomb, getting upset in Knoxville last night 4-1. The fourth-ranked Vols scored in the first inning on a wild pitch, but weren’t able to get a clutch hit against the 14-and-22 Bisons. Tennessee has only lost one other midweek game this season; a road game at Charlotte, a team now ranked in the top 20. Lipscomb’s pitching coach is former Hoptown Hoppers coach Grayson Crawford.
