The Christian County Public School System on Tuesday night named its teacher and staff member of the year.
The honors were presented during a ceremony at the Christian County Middle School Performing Arts Center and Superintendent Chris Bentzel presented Sinking Fork Elementary School Teacher Nancy Sims with districtwide certified staff member of the year award and Ramona Hester—who’s a bus driver and instructional assistant—with the classified staff member of the year award.
Each school nominated an employee for each of the awards and the winners were chosen from those nominations.
