The Charlotte Sports Foundation announced today the University of Tennessee and West Virginia will open the 2028 football season in the Duke’s Mayo Classic. The game will be played September 2nd, 2028 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC. The teams met to begin the 2018 season also in Charlotte.
