Princeton man arrested on assault charges

A Princeton man was arrested Saturday on a pair of assault charges.

The Princeton Police Department was called to 300 block of North Plum Street a few minutes after 8 p.m. after a man said he was assaulted by 26-year old Joshua Stroede of Princeton and a news release says Stroede became combative and pushed an officer when they made contact with him.

Stroede was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault and third-degree assault of an officer.
