The League of Women Voters Hopkinsville will be joining many of the 500,000 League members across the USA to celebrate the National Day of Action.
According to a news release, the Hopkinsville League is inviting citizens to attend a press conference at the Justice Center in Hopkinsville on the front lawn at 4 p.m., April 29.
A brief presentation will focus on the upcoming legislative redistricting which will take place this fall. The league hopes to increase public awareness and engagement around the redistricting process, and make sure the public’s voice is heard. The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan political organization focusing on the importance of informed voter participation in elections.
