A Russellville man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on US 68 in Logan County.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined 50-year old Timothy Webster of Russellville had been eastbound near John Paul Road and made an abrupt left turn from the right lane in an attempt to make a u-turn.
He drove his car into the path of a large truck in the left lane operated by 33-year old Derrick Raby of Bowling Green, with his truck striking the driver’s side door area of Webster’s car.
Webster was pronounced dead at the scene by the Logan County coroner and Webster’s passenger, 59-year old Tammy Boyd of Bowling Green, was taken to Logan Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.
