University Heights held Fort Campbell to two hits but had just five of their own in a 9-1 8th district win on Monday. Mallory Ladd had two hits-a double and a triple-and Regan Pollard also had two hits. Ladd also struck out six batters in five innings pitching to get the win as the Lady Blazers improve to 3-2 and 1-0 in district play. Fort Campbell is 0-8 and 0-2 in the district.
Hopkinsville fell to Trigg County 14-1 on Monday. The Lady Tigers were held to just four hits in the game and are 0-4 on the season.
