College Basketball

It’s going to be one and done for Gonzaga freshman guard Jalen Suggs. He announced on ESPN Monday that he is entering the 2021 NBA Draft. Suggs is a projected top-three pick after leading the Bulldogs to within one win of a national championship and undefeated season.

NHL

Calle Jarnkrok and Luke Kunin each had a goal and an assist as the Nashville Predators beat the Chicago Blackhawks 5-2 last night. Juuse Saros made 30 saves for Nashville, who plays the first of two more games with the Blackhawks tomorrow night in Chicago.

NBA

The Denver Nuggets nipped the Memphis Grizzlies 139-137 in double-overtime in Denver. Ja Morant had 36 points, 12 assists, and eight boards in defeat. Memphis continues its seven-game trip tomorrow night against the Clippers in Los Angeles.

Golf

The PGA Tour is strongly urging its players and caddies to get the COVID-19 vaccine. In a memo obtained by ESPN, the Tour says it will not mandate vaccinations, however, those not getting a vaccine will be tested each week and upon 72 hours at arriving on-site at their own expense. Some players have been opposed to getting the shots.
