Alleged peeping tom arrested in Trigg County

Police in Trigg County have arrested an alleged peeping tom accused of looking at a woman through her window.

A woman on Adams Mill Road contacted the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office after suspecting someone was peeping in her window and to report that her driver’s license was removed from her vehicle. She also noticed a block of wood under her bedroom window that she had not placed there which could have been used for someone to stand on to look inside.

A short time after her license was taken, 26-year old Christopher Hightower of Cadiz sent her a Facebook message, even though she did not know him.

Major Mike Sandbrink went to speak with Hightower and an arrest citation says he admitted to placing the block there and to watching her through the window while he touched himself on multiple occasions, possibly as many as 20 times.

He was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, voyeurism and third-degree criminal trespass.
