The 71st WHOP Rotary Radio Auction is less than a week away and there will be some changes and many of the staples that’s made the fundraiser so successful over seven decades.
The auction returns to an in-person event at the War Memorial Building Monday through Saturday of next week. The theme is “Building the Foundation” and this year’s auction chair is Cody Noffsinger.
He appeared on WHOP Tuesday morning and says there will be an online option to bid on the big ticket auction items on the Big Board.
Bidding will be secure and there will be three separate sets of Big Board auctions that will all be accessible through the Hopkinsville Rotary Club website.
The Rotary diner will be open for lunch and dinner and they’ll also be selling their always-popular Boston Butts.
The auction will go Monday through Thursday the week of the 19th from 7 until 10, 6 until 10 that Friday and 6 until all items are sold on Saturday night.
Each night of the auction will air live on Lite Rock 98.7 and online at lite987whop.com.
