Suspect still sought for Saturday morning fatal shooting

Hopkinsville police are still asking for the public’s help to locate a suspect sought for the Saturday morning shooting death of a man in the parking lot of the Valero gas station on East Ninth Street.

As previously reported, 31-year old Delmour Moncrief died at Jennie Stuart Medical Center after he was shot just before 9 a.m. in front of the gas station formerly known as Scott’s Market.

Two men fled the scene in a red Toyota Solara convertible after the shooting and one has been identified as 26-year old David Rashawn King. He is sought on a warrant for murder, according to Hopkinsville Police.
