Opening round games at the Girls Sweet 16 Thursday saw 2nd region winner Henderson County rout 3rd region winner Apollo 55-31, 1st region winner Marshall County downed Pikeville 56-52, Bethlehem over Bullitt East 70-65 and Russell over Dixie Heights 58-44.
Today’s Quarterfinal Games
Sacred Heart faces Bowling Green at 11 am, followed by Franklin County and Anderson County at 1 pm. The evening session has Marshall County going against Bethlehem at 4 pm followed by Henderson County and Russell at 7 pm. The semifinals and championship game will be played Saturday.
