Opening Round games at the Girls Sweet 16 Wednesday saw Bowling Green edge Bishop Brossart 50-48 in double overtime and Sacred Heart downed Knott County Central 64-32. Bowling Green meets Sacred Heart in the first quarterfinal game tomorrow at 10 am Central. Other first round scores from Wednesday saw Anderson County defeat Southwestern 78-67 and Franklin County got by South Laurel 55-50.
Today’s Games: 1st Region winner Marshall County meets Pikeville at 10 am Central followed by Bethlehem and Bullitt East at 1 pm, 2nd Region winner Henderson County faces 3rd Region winner Apollo at 4 pm and Dixie Heights goes against Russell at 7 pm.
