Multiple reports indicate Kentucky freshman guard Devin Askew is placing his name in the NCAA transfer portal. In an interview with 247Sports Monday, Askew said he want to “explore new opportunities” elsewhere. The announcement comes about a month after Askew’s father Brian told Kentucky Sports Radio he was “locked in” for next season. Devin Askew averaged 6.5 points and 2.9 assists for the Wildcats this past season.
