Christian County scored nine times in their first four at bats and blanked Madisonville 10-0 in its season opener Friday. Karlee Crick went 3-4 and drove in seven runs-including a grand slam home run. Reni Shemwell also homered for the Lady Colonels. Gracie Harned and Pickle Winkler each had two hits for Christian County. Riley Hancock pitched a three hit shutout for the Lady Colonels, who play Daviess County and Lyon County on Saturday.
