Ky. gains 690 COVID-19 cases, three deaths

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reported 690 new cases of COVID-19 Friday, along with three newly reported deaths.

According to a news release, the positivity rate has jumped back up above three percent at 3.08—the governor also reported 18 deaths that were discovered during the ongoing audit of the state reporting system.  That brings the death toll in the Commonwealth up to 6,129.

There are currently 393 Kentuckians in the hospital due to coronavirus, 89 in the ICU and 66 people on a ventilator.
