Todd County maintained lowest unemployment rate in state in February

Todd County maintained Kentucky’s lowest unemployment rate in February and Christian County’s jobless rate remained stagnant.

Unemployment in Todd County in February remained at 3.5 percent, which was tied with Oldham County for lowest in the state. Logan County was second place at 3.6 percent.

Christian County’s jobless rate was 5.5 percent, unchanged from January and up from 5.4 percent a year ago.

Trigg County had a 5.4 percent unemployment rate, down from 5.5 percent in January and up from 5.3 percent a year ago.

The state average in February was an even 5 percent and the national average was 6.6 percent.
