The Boston Red Sox are breathing a sigh of relief. It turns out the positive COVID-19 test for closer Matt Barnes last week was considered non-infectious. He was cleared to return to camp, along with the eight members of the organization that were in quarantine for contact tracing. All will be available for Thursday’s season opener against the Baltimore Orioles in Boston.
