University Heights opened the softball season falling to Owensboro 17-2 in four innings Monday night. The Red Devils led 4-2 after the first inning, but scored 13 times in its final three at bats to get the win. Katie Keller and Sloan Hampton had the lone hits for the Lady Blazers with Mallory Ladd taking the pitching loss. UHA is back in action Thursday at Trigg County.
