There are still COVID-19 vaccine appointments available at the Christian County Health Department’s regional site at the Bruce Convention Center.
Amanda Sweeney-Brunt appeared on WHOP Thursday morning and says it’s important to note that anyone 40 or older or any adult with a CDC identified health risk can make an appointment on the Christian County Health Department’s website to get the Moderna vaccine.
Appointments aren’t filling up as quickly as younger folks become eligible, but the health department hopes they will sign up to be vaccinated so everyone can get back to the old normal as quickly as possible.
Sweeney-Brunt says the Christian County Health Department still doesn’t have the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine and they likely won’t receive a large quantity of it when it does arrive.
