Many industries in the area are looking for new employees to fill empty positions, and the South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council is urging people to apply.
Executive Director Carter Hendricks appeared on WHOP recently and says that people may not realize it, but there are multiple industries looking for workers to fill jobs that have high salaries, including DDS Glass Doors, Stanley Engineered Fastenings and others.
Other places with job opening include Metalsa, which is expanding, Huhtamaki, Novelis in Guthrie, Continental Mills and Transcraft out of Trigg County. Hendricks says you can reach out directly to those businesses to apply, or you can keep an eye on the EDC social media sites and more for any other information about job openings.
