An eight-year old girl was struck by a vehicle Saturday in Clarksville on Bancraft Drive and taken to the hospital.
According to a news release, the eight-year old female victim had been operating a bicycle on Bancroft near Prescott Drive around 5:20 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle. She was transported to a local hospital, where she is listed in stable condition. The 47-year old driver of the vehicle, who is not named, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.
