NOAA Weather Radio Clarksville transmitter down

The NOAA Weather Radio transmitter in Clarksville is down until further notice.

That transmitter site broadcasts forecasts from the National Weather Service in Nashville, but also sends out warnings for Christian and Todd County as some residents along the state line can receive that frequency most clearly.

Hopkinsville’s transmitter, on a frequency of 162.450, is still working properly.

Montgomery County officials are urging residents there to download the Montgomery County Info app on their phone to receive any potential warnings.
