WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt returns April 3

After a year off due to the pandemic, the WHOP’er of an Egg Hunt is returning to Hopkinsville Saturday, April 3 at Tie Breaker Park.

Pam Rudd with Hopkinsville Parks and Recreation says the egg hunt will have some minor changes this year to prevent spread of the coronavirus, but it will for the most part be the same egg hunt you’ve come to love when the horn sounds at 11 a.m.

There are age groups for children from walking all the way up to eight years old and Rudd says there will also be age-appropriate prizes that will be drawn.

You’ll need an egg-hunting license and you can get them in advance at Midwest America Federal Credit Union, Magnolia Boutique, Sassystuff, the Christian County Chamber of Commerce, Pound Chiropractic and Statons Art and Framing.

The grand prize, as always, will be $98.70.
