Golfweek.com reports golfers Gary Woodland, Doc Redman and Scott Piercy have withdrawn from this week’s PGA Tour event, the Honda Classic. All three have tested positive for Covid-19.
Even though The Masters is returning in its normal April time frame this year, one of its signature events will not. Officials with Augusta National announced Monday the annual Par 3 Contest held the Wednesday before the start of the first major of the season will not take place. A statement indicates social distancing protocols will not allow the event to be contested.
