The Christian County Gateway Academy VEX Robotics Middle School teams performed well at the state championships Saturday at Martha Layne Collins High School, with one team winning a championship.
A news release says all three Gateway teams finished regular matches in the top 10 and moved on to alliance selections.
Team 8349OG “Original Geek” won the state title, won the Design Award, and received a bid to the World Competition in May.
Team 8349OR “Rocket” made the quarterfinals and Team 8349OT “Tesseract” made the semi-finals.
