A two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon at East 14th and South Virginia Street injured a local woman.
The collision report from Hopkinsville police says 27-year old Geoffrey Booker of Hermitage, Tennessee was headed east on 14th and reportedly said he was distracted by his phone and didn’t see that his light at South Virginia was red.
He proceeded through the intersection and collided with a northbound automobile driven by 63-year old Caroline Torian of Hopkinsville.
Torian was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries and Booker and his passengers were not hurt.
