Two arrested for drug trafficking in Madisonville

Investigation by multiple agencies Thursday in Madisonville led to the arrests of two people for drug trafficking.

Detectives received information about several suspicious packages at the U.S. Post Office in Madisonville and it was determined they contained about 150 lbs. of synthetic marijuana and edibles, according to a news release.

The packages were set to be delivered to 28-year-old Jared Graziano and 51-year-old Debra Soper at 2555 Country Club Lane in Madisonville and police executed search warrants at two different locations.

Additional drugs and cash were seized during the searches and police arrested Graziano and Soper on charges of trafficking in synthetic drugs, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
