Hopkinsville announces they will not play last two regular season basketball games

Hopkinsville basketball coach Larry Miller told WHOP Sports Friday afternoon via text the Tigers would not be playing their last two regular season games against Christian County this evening and University Heights on Monday night. Miller said the players decided to end the regular season and practice to avoid Covid exposure from other teams which would keep the Tigers from playing in the 2nd region tournament later this month. The Tigers earned a spot in the regional tournament after winning the 8th district tournament top seed Thursday night in a win over University Heights.
