An arrest warrant for felony theft has been served against a Hopkinsville man accused of stealing from his employer.
It alleges that between November of last year and January 19, 20-year old Shelby Walker of Hopkinsville was a cashier at the Max Fuel Express on Canton Street and engaged in s scheme where he would accept cash from customers, put the money aside, give change from the cash register, keep the cash from the customer and void the sale.
The warrant says there is video surveillance of the alleged actions and that he stole over $6,000.
Walker reportedly ran out of the store during the middle of his shift when confronted by store personnel.
