Application period open for Elizabeth Stone scholarships

The Elizabeth Stone Educational Fund is now accepting scholarship applications from 2021 graduating seniors at Christian County High School, Hopkinsville High School, University Heights Academy and Heritage Christian Academy.

The $5,000 scholarships are paid at $1,250 per semester for four semesters.

Last year the Elizabeth Stone Fund awarded $55,000 in scholarships to local students.

Student loans are also available from the Elizabeth Stone Fund.

Applications are available from your school guidance counselor or may be downloaded by going to elizabethstonefund.org.

The Elizabeth Stone Educational Fund was established in 1952 by Dr. James Edward Stone in honor of his wife.

The fund is administered by the Trustees of First Christian Church in Hopkinsville.
