Austin Peay quarterback Draylen Ellis was named the Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week. Ellis accounted for 214 yards of total offense and 2 TDs in his debut. He passed for 165 yards and ran for 49 against Tennessee Tech in a 27-25 loss Sunday. The Governors play their home opener Sunday against Tennessee State.
