Trigg has four new COVID cases, more vaccine appointments available this week

There were four new confirmed COVID-19 cases Monday in Trigg County and there are appointments available this week for those 70 and older there to receive a vaccine this week.

The four new patients are a 17-year old male and three adults, all isolating at home, according to the Pennyrile District Health Department.

Trigg County residents who are at least 70 years old or who are a first responder, school personnel or a childcare worker can call Trigg County Hospital at 270-522-0898 to enquire about a vaccine appointment.

Officials say 150 vaccines will be administered Tuesday and 250 on Wednesday.
