Woman injured in I-24 crash

A two-vehicle crash on I-24 in Montgomery County Friday afternoon injured a Clarksville woman.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol investigated and determined 36-year old Melissa Magana of Clarksville was westbound near the nine mile-marker and attempted to merge into the left lane to avoid a vehicle and person on the right shoulder of the highway.

She struck the right front of a vehicle in the left lane operated by 26-year old Ashley Hull of Oak Grove.

Both vehicles went off the left side of the road, causing Magana’s automobile to flip three times before coming to rest on its wheels.

Magana was taken to an area hospital for treatment of injuries and Hull was not hurt.

Both women were wearing their seat belt, according to the report.
