Despite outgaining Tennessee Tech 373-156, Austin Peay fell to the Golden Eagles in Cookeville Sunday in the OVC opener for both teams 27-25. The game marked the first for new Governors coach Scotty Walden. The Governors are now 0-4 on the season counting the three games last fall and host Tennessee State in the home opener next Sunday at 2 pm.
