A toddler was killed in an accidental shooting Wednesday night in Clarksville.
Detective Michael Patterson says a handgun was left unsecured in a home with three young children in the 3400 block of Pembroke Road in Clarksville about 10 p.m.
One of the children accessed the gun and a two-year old male was fatally shot with the gun.
No one else was injured.
Police say the mother’s boyfriend, 31-year old Julian Chester, was arrested on unrelated charges.
