Expected NFL Draft top pick Lawrence undergoes shoulder surgery

Projected first-overall draft pick Trevor Lawrence is recovering from shoulder surgery. ESPN reports the procedure was on his non-throwing left shoulder but is not expected to keep him from NFL training camp. He can start throwing again in four-to-six weeks. Lawrence had moved up his Pro Day to last Friday due to the surgery. The Clemson product is widely projected to be taken by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the top pick in April’s NFL Draft.
