Austin Peay got 32 points and 14 rebounds from Bowling Green native Terry Taylor in a 78-63 win over Southeast Missouri in the Dunn Center Saturday. Austin Peay is now 12-8 and 8-6 in the OVC. The teams will meet again Tuesday night in Cape Girardeau.
In the women’s game, four Governors scored in double figures led by a 21-point performance from senior guard Brianah Ferby; but it was not enough for Austin Peay, who dropped an overtime clash to Southeast Missouri, 73-68. Next up for the Governors is a Monday night game at Morehead State.
