Man arrested for allegedly pointing gun at employee at drive-thru window

A Mississippi man was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Hopkinsville police after he allegedly pointed a gun at an employee at the drive-thru window of a local gas station.

Twenty-year old Trendarious Hawkins of Greenwood, Mississippi is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and an arrest citation says he allegedly pointed the handgun at an employee at the Love’s station on Fort Campbell Boulevard near I-24 a few minutes after 3:30.

A computer check of the license plate on the car came back to a Cavalcade Circle address and that’s where police located and arrested Hawkins for first-degree wanton endangerment.

Police say Hawkins was captured on video surveillance at the window.
